A new window opening cut in the gable end at a house in Barnstaple.
The floor joists were propped with acrow props then openings were cut for the new prestressed lintels. Cavity trays were fitted and the space above the lintel was bricked in. The external window opening was cut with a petrol disc cutter. The internal wall was "stitched drilled" then all the blockwork was removed and a new profile 22 UPVC window was fitted. An external tiled window sill was fitted.
This job was "made good" both inside and outside, with the window being fully cleaned and sealed on completion.
All work was carried out to current building regulations.
